These drawings are some of my favorite Halloween Art that I've done. The fabulous Ed Emberley was my inspiration. I took his simplistic hand drawn techniques and converted them into my own computerized version. Working with shapes is one of my favorite ways to create computer illustrations. And of course the figures themselves needed to be immersed in some type of Halloween setting for my own amusement...thus these pieces of art were born. Two of these pieces were used in the inside booklet of the Moon-Rays new Halloween CD, 'Swingin' at the Séance'...which if you haven't added this one to your Halloween collection yet, then you are truly missing out. I don't know how you do it. I wish I knew how because I'd be creative each and every day making my own art too. Me need to learn.
^_^
Yeah, I'm with Broom Hilda. I need to learn how to make art with my computer! Oh, the ideas I could put into digital form.
I love these pieces, by the way. I remember them from your original MySpace page. Great stuff!!!!
I look forward to your collection of Halloween art being displayed in a coffee table book. I think it's a keen idea ~ xo
I was thinking you could sell your designs to Target for their tins and t-shirts and what nots! Why not? :)
I love these!
