Why do I love a Witch Hat so?
I do not know.
I do not know.
Does the color catch my eye?
Black like night.
Or Purple sky?
Is it the brim that I love so?
A perch for bat.
Or Owl.
Or Crow.
Could the pointy tip be best?
So much taller than the rest.
It is the point,
I can attest,
It is the crest that I like best!
No wait, it's not the point at all.
Even though the point is tall.
I think the most amazing thing,
is all the mystery that it brings.
The Magic that it holds inside
of potions, spells,
and broomstick rides!
No, it's the WITCH that wears the hat.
Yes THAT is what I love.
And all the crazy Magic,
in her pointy hat above!

You guessed it...I'm actually a "hillbilly"...from Kentucky, born and raised. I've lived in Ohio for 5 years now, due to my Hubby's job transfer.
it is so funny that we missed each other by a week. someone else that follows my blog is here too but i can't remember who it is. i am hoping to have time to take pics of some of the wonderful houses before we leave. we went out yesterday and it took us 2 straight hours of walking full speed to take just the main attractions. we took over 400 pics. my kids were questioning my blog devotion when i kept rushing them to the next site to photograph the next pic i wanted to post. we are off to ogunquit today and back to salem tomorrow so hopefully i can snap a lot more photos then! that little black dog zuzu was from that witch store! this is such a fun place especially this time of year!
