Tonight I stopped by Home Goods again and would you believe that a LOT of the stuff that was there just 2-3 days ago was already gone and some completely new and different stuff was now on the shelves. All of the venetian masks had been snatched up already. Glad I got mine when I did. I also got myself some Pumpkin Spice Coffee...yum yum!Did I mention that I just started drinking coffee a few weeks ago? I've always liked the taste of it as long it has lots of sugar and creamer in it. But I've just never really felt the urge to drink coffee in the mornings since I usually get my caffeine fix by drinking Diet Mountain Dew. And during the day time it just seems too hot for the stuff. But my daughter and I have been on a Gilmore Girls marathon this summer and because they live in Connecticut on that show, where it's cold...they drink a lot of coffee. So I decided to buy a coffee pot and start drinking coffee too. Hey, it's never too late in life to pick up a bad habit right? Ha!
So my coffee of choice since I am a light weight....is Chocolate Truffle mixed with Vanilla Cinnamon and topped off with sugar free Hazelnut creamer. It's quite tasty and since technically I am consuming about 4 cups...it does a nice job of waking me up. I say technically because I have a big coffee mug and I drink 2 cups total, but apparently my coffee mug holds 2 cups at a time, so after 2 cups, I've actually consumed 4...does that make sense?
Anyway, I found the pumpkin coffee and I was stoked...I will now attempt to mix the pumpkin and chocolate coffees and see what I can come up with. Sounds more like dessert doesn't it? And now I just found Pumpkin Spice Creamer on-line as well. Sounds delicious, but I think it is only seasonal, so we'll see if it becomes available. For those of you who are more industrious and handy in the kitchen, you can try the following recipe for "Pumpkin Spice Mocha". It sounds quite yummy and seems relatively easy to make. And for those of us longing for it to be Fall...imbibing in the flavors of Fall will at least make it taste as if Fall is on it's way! Now if only I could figure out how to make these wonderful Halloween themed Coffee designs! :o) The recipe is as follows:
Pumpkin Spice Mocha
Makes one 6-8 oz cup.
Adjust the spice to your tastes.

Let's try that again. I can't seem to spell in the mornings.
Flavoured or not, once you start drinking coffee, there's no turning back! ;)
Great images. Pumpkin spice coffee won't appear in my part of the world for another month. Enjoy. :)
I love the images in the foam. You can make coffee for me anyday!! - LOL. Thanks for the recipe for pumpkin spice. Going to make that today.
Hugs and sparkles

I don't drink coffee, but you may have changed my mind with those flavors and pictures. lol
LOL! Not a coffe drinker (smells heavenly) - but I really enjoyed the coffee "art". Very cool!
Cheers!
Those are really cool designs. I wish I could figure out how they do them too!
I knew I should have gone to Home Goods again yesterday when I was out hitting up Michaels! Ugh! Maybe today.
Oh, your post makes me want Pumpkin Spice coffee so bad. I'm pregnant and can't have my usual fix, although I may give in and go decaf once they start making it at starbucks (which is the devil, but I can't resist, lol)!

Well far be it from me to lead anyone into another bad habit if you don't already have it...ha! But I have grown to like my coffee. Today's pumpkin spice was very good, I tried it all on it's own. But I think tomorrow I'll mix it with the Chocolate Truffle and see what I can 'brew' up...har har!
Nice to meet you Meg. And I know what you mean. I went to Michael's yesterday too in fact. But I'm not that impressed with them this year. And they already put out Christmas...that's just not right. But Home Goods...this store must be hit at least twice a week or you'll miss the good stuff. The store clerk said that it was flying off the shelves as soon as they got it out there. So I need to hit up the other 3 HG stores today and see what else is new. They are hands down the best store for really cool Halloween merch!
I usually don't like coffee, but I wouldn't mind trying those ones. And the first mug, I need something like that here for my tea.
Looks awesome, yum! :)
I love coffee, just got home from having double expresso shot with whipped cream on top (my favorite). The coffee art looks delicious!
I found you on Becca's blog..thought I would fly on by and say hi!! What a fun blog..looove it!
Being from the Pacific North West...coffee is everywhere..little coffee shops and java spots..I adore a good latte...foamy pictures and all!!
Enjoy all your pumpkin java..sounds heavenly..I am ready for Fall!!
Nice to meet you, Sarah
Off to see your artwork :)
Went by Homegoods again today ours had four new rows of stuff that was not out just a week ago. Today I picked up purple glitter skeleton hands. I want to go back in a couple of days to pick up the skeleton pillows, so cute!
I got two masks on my first visit and today almost all ours were gone too - I hope they get more in. Which mask did you pick up?
Victoria...your expresso sounds yummy, hope it was wonderful!
Welcome Witchy Godmother, love your site!
Hi Sadako!! :o)
Hi Sarah...well you are certainly in the right place for coffee. I hear it's almost like a state requirement in the Northwest to start drinking coffee at 12...like a right of passage or something...ha! I guess I'm late to the party as usual. :o)
Josie...so funny you mention those skeleton hands. I saw those too and I REALLY liked them. And just like you I would have gotten purple. They were quite heavy too. But I ended up getting a large scroll work black glittered owl. But I'm going back this weekend too. I got a handheld purple and white crescent moon mask. I'll post a photo soon. I waned an orange one with an owl too, but I didn't get it and it looks like they were big sellers.
yum!!!! I can't wait till Starbucks comes out with their Pumkin spiced latte!!! You will love it!!! Talk about wasting money! IT also soesn't help I only live 8 mins from there! EEK!
Welcome to the cult! mu-hahahahaha
Love coffee, have a ton every day! Haven't tried Pumpkin Spice, but it sounds good!
