I am dreaming of Fall and all it's brilliant colors. When we are driving around New England in the Fall, there is a roadside stand, pumpkin patch or Farmer's Market in every little village. And the eye popping color of each one, beckons you to stop and take a look. Needless to say, we get nowhere fast because I insist on stopping every 5 minutes to photograph something else. All the color just makes me happy, happy, happy! In fact, I think the explosion of color everywhere is one of my very favorite things about the Harvest Season. These are a few images I took while driving through New England, just because I was enamored with all the color! Happy Hump Day fellow Autumn People!!

Ah, thank you for those pictures. Just what my Autumn heart needed to see on this summer day.
You are the best!
Cheers!
Not long now, and I can't wait!
Great photos! I especially like that last one. There's a reason we love the season so much and your post says so.
Boo-tiful photos (I couldn't resist!!)!
When autumn rolls around it really makes me wish I lived in New England...the colors there are gorgeous! I'm always sad that SoCal doesn't have seasons...
I can't wait!!! Those pictures are amazing!!!
Beautiful! Love the straw roll man how cool!
Lovely pictures. I love the mix of pumpkins and flowers in full bloom. Like two seasons mixing. Here in England Fall is coming, slowly but surely.
It is funny that you talk about dreaming of Fall, as I actually blogged about it recently: http://vraiefiction.blogspot.com/2010/08/late-autumn.html
I took a walk this evening and the air was cool, the growing shadows and dying daylights were mixing together and there was that autumn, dying summer atmosphere. (I think I might blog about that too).
I love your wonderful photo's!!!
I too like the one on top...Autumns colors zing right to the soul don't they?
I can feel Autumn in the air where I live...even with the heat and humidity...the tops of the trees are beginning to show bits of yellow and the crops are winding down. It won't be long till Samhain! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Those are lovely! I'm getting tired of having to water the flowers to keep them alive these days and am wishing it were October when it's acceptable to just let them wither and call them "seasonal decorating."
I love the fall! Unfortunately it doesn't cool off here in Karloff-ornia until about November or so...ugh.

Yay for bringing fall in early! If only we could set up the season's like they do in the stores, lol.
Oh and I put up a post explaining how the pass the flashlight thing would work. Thanks for pointing out another of my "my brain is working faster than my mouth and fingers" moments and reminding me I have to actually articulate an idea, lol.
I would link it here but I am just not that savvy yet.
Beautiful photo's! I, too, am dreaming of Autumn and all of her glory!
Well I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who is dreaming of Fall. And these photos aren't my good ones, these just show some of the great color. I have lots more visions of Autumn to share over the coming days, weeks and months! :o)
I can't wait till Autumn! My favorite season :) These are great pics :)
Oh, I love Fall, and cannot wait til summer is OVER. Thanks so much for sharing!
Nice to meet you Christina and Tammy...Fall and Halloween lovers always welcome here! :o)
