Yo Ho Yo Ho...A Pirate's Life for Me!

Yo Ho, Yo Ho....A Pirate's Life for Me! Ahoy Mateys! Do I have the MOST fantabulous news to share today. I am SO VERY STOKED to report that Captain Jack Sparrow will be sailing the high seas again for the 4th installment of Disney's lucrative Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise! Johnny Depp sailed onstage Thur., Sept. 10th, in a pirate ship, to help announce the news with Walt Disney Studios Chairman, Richard Cook. The announcement took place at D23, an 'all things Disney' convention running through the weekend. And I for one, could not be more thrilled! I realize that this is not exactly Hallowe'en related news, but who cares.....we're talking another romp in the ocean with Captain Jack...what could be more fun and exciting than that! :o)

The film titled, "On Stranger Tides" is due out in the Summer of 2011. This 4th film will possibly be part of a trilogy, and will follow Captain Jack's adventure to find the Fountain of Youth. It is also slated to include Miley Cyrus, John Travolta and Tim Burton. Filming is to begin in Spring 2010. I cannot wait! First Depp in the new Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland," and then another Pirates. Some great things to look forward to! Guess I need to go ahead and add the Captain Jack VooDoo String Doll to my collection now! :o)
