The Crystal Skull

I want to give a shout-out to a fellow blogger who puts the SPOOK in spooktacular. Chris Davis is the author of the blog 'Frog on the Pumpkin'. And she is one half of the devilishly dynamic husband and wife duo who are 'Davis GraveYard'. Be sure to check them out, their work is top notch. But I just wanted to thank her for a post she did that lead to one of my favorite birthday gifts this past August...Dan Ackroyd's mystically fantastic Crystal Skull that is filled with Pure Spirit, Triple Crystal Filtered Vodka.

Here is what the box says about the Legend of the Crystal Skull...
"One of the most compelling archaeological mysteries is the story of the 13 Crystal heads. These heads are believed to be between 5,000 and 35,000 years old and were carved over a period of several hundred years but without any tool marks. In fact their very construction defies the laws of physics and common logic. They are believed to offer spiritual power to those who hold or possess them."
The Crystal Skull website is very interesting. Check it out for more spell binding info on the Legend of the Crystal Skulls. And don't forget to pick up a bottle of this 'double duty' Canadian Crystal Skull Vodka before your Hallowe'en party. Because once the liquor is gone, you're left with a terrifyingly terrific Halloween decor item. I photographed the bottle and box so you could see how fabulous the packaging is on this product. In fact, it's quite possible I like the bottle even more than the Vodka inside. :o) Photo © Wendy A. ( All Rights Reserved)

Just saw this at my local liquor store! I will be picking up a skull ASAP! Maybe one for martinis, and one just for show!

The bottle really is incredible actually. And I found all the info on the website fascinating as well. There is a video on there of Dan Ackroyd talking about the legend of the Crystal Skulls. I love stuff like that!

You are so welcome!! Isn't that the coolest thing...just do not mix the vodka with Red Bull on a camping trip. Trust me. drink it in the safety of your own home.

Thanks for the shout out!

Cheers!
