"Looking on the happy Autumn-fields, And thinking of the days that are no more."
The scarecrows have worked hard all summer long keeping the crows away from the corn, and soon their job will be complete. Nothing signals Autumn's imminent arrival quite like the sight of the corn fields ready for harvest, and the beautiful mosaic artistry of Indian Corn. These are just a few of the many things that conjure up Autumn's magic in the memory. So over the next few months, I'd like to share some of the seasonal enchantments of Fall/Mabon, as I see them through my lens. And also a reminder that as August draws to a close and September begins....don't forget to celebrate the Full Harvest Moon coming up on the 4th.

Your photograhy has captured the magic of fall! Love those shots! :) Becca
Gorgeous pictures! You have truly captured fall.
Wow, those are great pictures. I feel like it is fall already :)
Cheers!
Terrific photos!! I love the one with the cornfield!!
It's beginning to look alot like autumn!
The farmers here in the midwest got their crops in late so everything still has quite a bit of green to it. But the walnut trees are losing leaves like crazy. And a few of the maples have started changing a little early. We've been having cooler than normal temps and I think entered into an early Fall pattern already. =)
You keep the awesome Autumn pics coming. It's clearly putting everyone in the mood.
Really lovely photos! I have Indian corn in my fall display every year - it's so beautiful!
Well a BIG thank you to everyone for your feedback. We don't have a Fall season here in Florida, so most of my Autumn photography is shot in New England and in the mountains of Georgia/North Carolina. I will be posting more to share, as just looking back at the photos transports me there instantly! :o)
