Well, by the calculations of the gigantic clock on my chamber walls...it looks to be just a mere 5 months and 11 days until Hallowe'en! So I decided I had a long enough vacation, and should set about to conjuring up some magical goodies to begin the countdown. So perhaps I can find you all again, my pretties! I know you are out there lurking in the shadows somewhere. So come out, come out wherever you are and lets commence with some Hocus Pocus shall we?Thursday, May 21, 2009
It's time for some Hocus Pocus!
Well hello to everyone.....hello? Is anyone still out there? Why NO they are NOT, because my last post was in October and this lil' Witch got so busy with all the Hallowe'en festivities that I vanished in the night....'POOF'! Then, as I am quite accustomed to doing...I hibernated through the long dark days of Winter. I frittered away my time working on spells, cleaning out the cobwebs, and making some minor adjustments to my broomstick. My trusty familiar Coventina made for good company and became quite adept at hunting down the ingredients for my potions. She provided me with frogs, lizards and even a snake! What a good little kitty! All that, and my not-so-evil bidding too! What more could a good witch like me ask for in a companion?! Here she is conjuring up her own brand of feline magic on my potions table!

I am lucky, I just thought about re-visiting your blog today. Nice pics, as usual. Halloween can be prepared for months. As a child, I was playing a game where my brother was a demon and my other brother and I were fighting him, the demon was trying to build an army of undead and monsters for Halloween night, so he was busy through summertime and autumn and we were busy thwarting him. We also played haunted house and haunted castle through summertime, especially on stormy days.
Well, it's a good thing I checked to see it you started posting here again. I had been coming back every 2-3 weeks to check. :)
Glad your back.
Well hello Guillaume! Long time no see! So sorry to have just dropped out of the blog-o-sphere like that. Things get so crazy for me starting in October and lasting through New Years. I really missed posting to this blog and getting all the great feedback and stories. So I am happy to be back, and even more happy that you thought to stop by! And I LOVE your account of you and your brothers and the armies of the 'undead', and playing 'haunted house'! What spooktacular memories to have. Thank you so much for sharing those wonderful flashbacks! I love that kind of stuff! :o)
And hello to you Belle! I was just thinking about you too. I had meant to send you a personal note and invite to this blog and my new one, but just hadn't gotten to it yet. So you must have read my mind! I am happy and excited to post here again. As I went back through the old posts, I realized how much I enjoyed this blog! Glad you haven't forgotten me because you always have such great info and ideas to contribute. :o)
Well, hello again. I will show up more often now and comment on your blog. I'll give you more sppoktacular memories to hopefully get you through those long summer months. Hopefully there will be some stormy nights reminiscent for the time my brothers and I were playing haunted house.
Yay! Wens is back! Yay! Me too!!!!
Hooray for my Halloween Homie...the Gill-Man! Welcome back brutha! :o)
Ahh, love this pic! I just lost my beloved black and white kitty of 16years, and it made me think of him.
Hey PQ...aw...I'm sorry to hear that. 16 years is a long time! You should post a photo of him on your blog...I'd love to see it. Will you get another?
I have 3 dogs, and hadn't owned a cat since I was in college. But since I create my Wendy the (very) Good Witch art, and her trusty familiar Coventina is always in the image somewhere....I thought it only fitting for me to actually have a black kitty named Coventina of my own. And through some really cool synchronicity...she showed up in my life. And I knew the hubby wasn't going to be thrilled...but since it was Mother's Day, he couldn't deny me either. Such a clever lil' witch...ha ha!
