This weekend I thought I would leave a link to something that I ran across which has nothing to with Hallowe'en, but could potentially effect your 'Karma'....or not!Have you ever heard of the "Kabalarian Philosophy" before? Yeah, me neither, but the gist is, they give you the karmic meaning of your name based on something that's similar to numerology. Supposedly the philosophy has its roots in a yogic system called Yantra Yoga, but skeptics are quick to cry 'foul'!
So always being up for self-enlightenment, of the real or imaginary kind....I figured it was entertaining enough to try. In fact, I tried it on the whole family, and each of our 'synopsis's' were quite different, and yet oddly accurate!
(Skeptics say it's written vaguely enough to fit anyone, not unlike Psychic John Edward's brief exchanges with his 'friends on the other side'.) But John makes people's lives more interesting.... so I carried on. You can opt for a quick name search, or get a more in-depth report as well, and both of them are completely free. Which probably leaves you wondering what the catch is...and whether its all legit and stuff? Well, I think the validity is a personal judgement call. But apparently, they make their money by offering an additional 'paid service' to help generate you an all new and improved name that will elevate your Karmic outcomes in life, thereby increasing your potential, success, and wealth. No worries though....as forgoing a 'name change' is really only necessary if your parents doomed you to a life of failure and misery by strapping you with a moniker equivalent to Karmic Suicide. And besides, in a day and age when no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore...why not blame your parents for your 'karma' as well?!
So, if your current name proves detrimental to your well being, then perhaps you may want to consider the investment. Otherwise, most of us will probably have some good and bad associated with our names, tho' nothing so damning that we can't somehow persevere and carry on. And as long as you don't need to purchase a new name and fate for yourself, then this can serve as a mildly interesting endeavor that costs you nothing but ill-spent time.
Here is a summary of my name with the good and the bad, so you can see what your getting...Wendy - "Your mind is forever active, planning out some new project or seeking new ways to improve your present enterprise. (truth...no wonder I can never sleep) You work best alone and unrestricted because a sense of freedom is essential to your well-being. (truth....I am introverted by nature, and I loathe people minding my business!) Provided you are not pushed, and as long as an idea holds your interest, you can accomplish almost anything. (Good to know!) You concentrate intensely for short periods of time and, sometimes, you may live a thing night and day until you lose interest. (There may be no truer statement than that last one....how freaky is this name thing?!) Your strong likes and dislikes and intense nature generate tremendous energy that must be given outlet in creative progress. (Truth, I MUST create or else cease to exist!) You are susceptible to restlessness, moods, or feelings of frustration and repression. Under stressful conditions, you could suffer disturbances in the female organs. (Eeegads!) Tension could also center in the solar plexus resulting in nervous indigestion and stomach disorders." (Yikes....ulcers are NOT good!)
So you see, though certainly not perfection....I feel the results of my particular name are sufficient enough to stick it out til' the end, with no compulsion to make any name changes at this juncture...ha! So if you take up the challenge this weekend, I'd be curious to know if you struck gold in the 'Name Lottery' of life? Also, did you find your results to be at all accurate, and is a formal name change now in your future? :o)

Wow thanks for that interesting post! I went ahead and got an analysis for the fun of it. I am practical person who believes in wisdom to guide me but I find tests like this fun and sometimes revealing. Names do matter however. I named my daughter purposefully.
Thanks again!
So glad you enjoyed it too. I like stuff like that. Just glad that it didn't give a really negative report...ha!
