Halloween Meal in a Muffin Tin

Thought this was an interesting concept for Halloween Eating. Although this is undoubtedly geared towards kids who love nothing more than snacking on finger foods....I think it could easily adapt to adults as well. A Halloween Meal in a Muffin Tin....what a novel idea.

If you look closely you'll see in the top corner pockets some nutritious vampire fangs made from apples, peanut butter and candy corn. Then you can also chow down on white cheese ghosts, hot dog strip worm
s and blood ketchup. For Autumn color there are orange carrot sticks and yellow macaroni and cheese. And for dessert, granola, candy corn mix and butterscotch pudding. This is the perfect meal to serve the lil' Trick or Treaters before their big night out.

Perhaps it could also be adjusted a bit for adults by adding green olive eyeballs, spaghetti noodle brains with green moldy pesto sauce, feta cheese ghosts and other ghoulish themed goodies.
Although I don't know if adults would dig the idea of eating out of a muffin tin or not. But they could think of it as Tapas maybe?

Anyhoo, I give this kid approved lunch 2 Severed Thumbs off....for it's originality, color, style, nutritional value and adherence to the seasonal theme. So what do you say? Would you meal out on this or not?

Interesting. The colours do give this meal an autumn feel.

My grandson Story would love this. Next time he is here at dinner this is how I'm going to serve his food. Great idea.
