Pushing Up Daisies

"Because I could not stop for death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality."
~ Emily Dickenson

What a novel name and idea for a store..."Pushin' Daisies". HA!

That IS clever...and they have some really cool products too. Who doesn't love a good skeleton? Now you can get your skull/skeleton fix in some freakishly fashion forward ways.

Check out this fab umbrella. I have GOT to get my bony little fingers on one of these babies!
Admit it...you want one too don't ya?

And for the men folk, nothing says debonair yet dangerous like a pair of pewter Skull & Bones cuff links. Time to unleash your inner pirate gentlemen!

And last is my personal favorite. A new and slightly macabre twist on that old perennial favorite...the Pink Flamingo Lawn Ornaments. When you live in Florida, you have a deep appreciation for that kitschy bit of nostalgia those Pink Flamingos represent. But now instead of packing them away at the end of the summer...we can just replace them with their more sinister looking cousins. I can't wait to put mine out for Halloween because I just know the neighbors are going to be green with Flamingo envy!

Aren't they great?! And I'm thinking the skll cuff links would look good on that suit/tuxedo you'll be sporting soon.

You have so much cool stuff in this blog! I haven't been keeping up and just put a bookmark on my browser so I can remember to come by more often. I must not miss a single post!

I wanted to tell you that thanks to you, I ordered the Skel-e-flamingos for my niece (she doesn't know yet) and shot a photo of Gio and Riffy on them last night as they went searching for the Perseids. Thanks for posting the skel-e's ... without that pic Gio and Riffy would have missed out on their middle of the night star searching ride!!
