Season of the Witch

If Luella Bartley's presentation on the catwalks for Fall 2008 is any indication, then this Fall just might really be "The Season of the Witch"! Luella said she wanted something "a bit raw and Pagan" for her Fall collection. A "Wicker Man" kind of vibe. Check out this cute little number on a pointy hat clad model. It's like Hermione Granger meets Project Runway! It's 'Witchy' and trendy...not overly dark or Goth. And frankly...I love it! Those orange tights just put it over the top for me. And if this ensemble makes it into the stores this Fall...you can bet your broomstick that this (Very) Good Witch will be wearing it! But perhaps, I'll leave my hat at home!

OMG! I saw the rest of the photos from this collection & I love it. It probably won't be available in the US, which is a shame. I don't know about the witch hat, but I would probably wear that little elf hat!

Ha Ha...ME TOO! I know I have eccentric taste, but I just thought her stuff was the cutest. I loved it! I think I may try to copy the look with a black jumper, white shirt and orange tights. That is the outfit I want to wear to Salem this Fall! :o)

Yeah, it would probably be very easy to copy the look. In fact I'll probably go out & get some 'harvest' color tights this year.
I'm diggin' the cute dresses & blouses made out of that orange & black checked fabric. They're the awesomest!
Awww, I hope some day I'll get to go to Salem.
