('Self-Preservational Delusion' is a new clinical term I've created from my self diagnosis....please enter it into your medical dictionaries at this time!)
So yes....I realize that it's a sad, pathetic existence to have to 'pretend' the change of seasons, but an "Autumn Girl" from Florida has to do what an "Autumn Girl" has to do.....to get her Autumn On!!! And for me that means turning the air down cold and staying indoors amid all my Halloween/Fall decorations and counting down the days until I head to New England! In the meantime, I am thrilled to report that that 'man o' mine' scored himself some major 'pumpkin brownie points' this morning. Yes, I awoke to find some Fall treats waiting for discovery in my fridge. My very first container of Pumpkin Spice Creamer for my Coffee....woo hoo! (I can officially report that it was quite tasty!) And as if that weren't enough, there were also 3 assorted packs of Halloween Cookies ready for the baking! Hooray! I just love how he aids and abets me in my semi-dysfunctional and seemingly insatiable need for continuous Autumnal stimulation and reinforcement! :o)

oh fun, I love those cookies w/ the images in them
It is windy, cool and rainy in my neck of the woods. feels like autumn. All your goodies look delicious. Think I'll go get some.
I have been on the lookout for that creamer since the beginning of September and I have not seen it yet! It's my favorite one and it's not made it's debut here yet!! Lucky girl!

Yeah Halloween stuff is so fun. I finally found some Pumpkin Spice coffee at Target !! Blessings
I love a well-trained, er, I mean thoughtful, male. ;D That's fantastic what he did...yay! Baking silly cookies is such fun, too. They have another new Halloween Tree at Target, going to go secretly get one for this new friend of mine, may see her today (she is the one who created the mini skull charm in my blog). She has a mini eye of newt jar for my tree so I realized that *she* needs a tree. The new design has a pumpkin at the bottom, I'll photograph it later and blog it. Still channeling the Halloween Trees.... :)
I think like that in my mind, too! Hey, your fella is just the man! He deserves something special for that!
I had the creamer over the weekend and it is just as good as always! Wish I could find the Peppermint Mocha version more often, though!
What a great treat! Your trip to New England this year should be extra showy! Oh I hope we have the coffee creamer. I have been on the look out. :)
Looks like I'm gonna have to head to the nearest grocer to see if they have the Pumpkin creamer because I have been looking for it these past two weeks.
Oh..and I noticed last time I was at the market they had a display of Count Chocula, FrankenBerry, & BooBerry up. It tempted me to buy one and indulge in my childhood taste buds. lol! I thought, hmm...better put this off a couple of weeks and then go for it. My kiddos might like a treat themselves.
I want to try those cookies. It is hot here too, way too hot actually, I don't like it at all, I need cooler temperatures to feel comfortable.
Am I the only one who cheated and went to Dunkin Donuts for their pumpkin coffee? LOL!
As long as you have your e-magination you can have Autumn any old time on the web. Look, I've done my own word too.
I used to love those cookies but lately they've tasted funny to me. Like a clown fell into the mixing vat at the factory.
The creamer, on the other hand, deserves an closer inspection from me. I'll have to hit the grocer's soon.
For those of you interested in the Pumpkin Creamer, he found it at Wal-Mart of all places. It was not out yet at our Target or our grocery stores. I DETEST Wal-Mart, but I am not above doing what I have to do to get my Autumn Coffee Supplies! And Lisa, I did not know Dunkin' Donuts has Pumpkin Coffee, as I've only ever gotten Pumpkin Donuts there...so is it just brewed by the cup, or do they sell it by the bag as well?
Herr Punpkinstein...I totally love the word 'E-magination'! And I must agree that sometimes those cookies do taste a bit strange. Don't know if I'd call it a 'clown' taste per se....but they do seem to leave a waxy film on the roof of your mouth. (Guess that could indeed be from a clown) Oh...and DO try the pumpkin creamer, it's tasty business!
Guillaume....I feel your pain! If there is ANYONE who can empathize with the need for cooler temps....it is I!!!
Cat, the tree sounds really cute. If you see this message....leave me a link to your blog.
Oddly, the weather has been summer-like here in recent weeks as well. That seems to be changing today though. Enjoy your treats!
Now . . . where did I put my wool sweater . . . :D
That's a good man. I think he deserves some "treats" in return *wink wink*
Okay Miss Halloween Spirit...don't be trying to make me jealous with your 'wool sweater' talk...ha! Give me another couple weeks and I'll be wearing my hats and scarves too....woo hoo!
And Philly...amazing how you just channeled my husband with that comment....ha! Men!
The other day I bought the Booberry Fruit Roll Ups. I buy all these special Halloween promotions also. Stick a ghost on anything and I'll buy it. -SCB
What a lucky gal you are! I love the pumpkin spice creamer! :)
Oh, and I can sympathize with you about a "Southern Autumn". I'm in Louisiana =) Thankfully, the temps have been down a bit, giving us a slight Autumn feel :)
