Versatile Blogger Award

I have been bestowed with a 'Versatile Blogger' award, thanks in part to Trick or Treat Pete, The Spooky Vegan and Halloween Overkill who were so kind as to include me in their nominations. Thank you both so much. I am honored to be in such good company and I encourage all my blog peeps to check out their blogs if you aren't already followers.

The rules to this blog nomination are as follows:

• Thank the person who gave it to you.
• Share 7 things about yourself.
• Pass the award along to 15 who you have recently discovered and who you think fantastic for whatever reason.
• Contact the blogs you picked and let them know about the award

Seems easy enough, but unfortunately for me....it's not! I've never been much for following rules. So I am disinclined to perform the duties of choosing 15 other blogs because I'd never want anyone to think I neglected them if they weren't on the list. Or worse yet, I'd hate to make anyone feel burdened or obligated to participate in something if they didn't want too. So rather than nominating 15 blogs, I prefer to take the cowardly politically correct way out by just suggesting that if you're interested in some really great blogs....then go to my list of Blogs that I follow or any of the Blogs that follow me, and check any of them out if you haven't already. They are all stellar folks who enjoy the same Halloweeny things!

Okay....now my 7 things...
1.) You already know my first thing...which is the fact that I am a 'People Pleaser', I hate choosing and I just want everyone to be happy!
2.) I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor. I love to tease those I like the best and be teased in return....but I am never mean, crude or disrespectful to others because a.) I was raised in the South where we were taught to always be polite and mind our manners and b.) (Refer back to #1)
3.) If I could be anything else in the world other than what I already am....I would be a Disney Imagineer.
4.) I have 3 phobias...1.) Spiders 2.) Hospitals 3.) Pain.
5.) I see dead people.
6.) I like to interject things like #5 because they sound so cool. But in reality, if I really did see dead people I'd probably faint because I'm easily spooked! But it did sound good didn't it? :o)
7.) I collect Children's Halloween books, especially if they are about Witches. I collect Adult Halloween books too...but mainly if they involve the history of, or how-to tips, decorating, party ideas, or folk-lore. Not scary story books.

I realize that these are rather boring. I do apologize. I think this award business would be far more titillating if we could just make up 7 sensational things about ourselves whether they were true or not. Maybe I shall create such an award some day. An award for the people most adroit at imagination fabrication. YES....that's it....I shall create the "Wicked Web Imagination Fabrication Award" to be bestowed upon the best 'spinner' of tall tales on the web! ;o)
