Got Brains?!!

Well everyone knows by now that I'm not a 'blood-n-guts' kind of gal, even though I can appreciate them from time to time....like when they apply in some way to say....Zombies! Now I am no Zombie expert by any means, but I couldn't help appreciate the warped sense of humor that went into these seemingly bizarre Zombie themed products!

First up is the Zombie Cookie Jar above from ThinkGeek.com....this is a must have for any Zombie aficionado don't you think? And it would look positively 'ghoulish' on the dessert table at the annual Halloween Bash too!
In fact, me thinks the only thing that would make that Zombie Head Cookie Jar even more unappealing would be to fill it with some sort of Red Cookies perhaps, like the Red Velvet Cookies above. You must agree that it would totally up the aesthetic factor of said kitchen 'monstrosity'!

Now this next lil' artistic masterpiece I find rather amusing. Forgive my consistently warped sense of humor, but the concept is rather clever, don't you agree? I mean it's evil genius really, and would certainly be quite the conversation piece in your garden! Besides, everyone knows those Garden Gnomes are EVIL lil' posers, pretending to be all sweet and innocent until you turn your back....and then it's 3 WHACKS with a garden hoe and down you go. And when they are Zombie Gnomes....well no one is safe, not even the ever-placidly pink Lawn Flamingo who has so grimly met his demise. It was just a matter of time....

(image © ChrisandJanesPlace on Etsy)My last Zombie find, was not actually a product, but rather it is a creatively brilliant use of spare body parts, sharpies and wasted time! These Zombie Fingers undoubtedly belong to some fantastically funny, dark and creative individual, who would most certainly be the life of any party....of this I am sure! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Wendy that cookie jar filled with those red cookies perfect for little Zombies! And those garden gnomes I know what you mean, When I go out to my garden there's a couple of those little old men pretending to be sleeping contently under my black eyed susan vines. Which makes me wonder, what happened to my little garden figurines?
Wonderfully Zombie like post!

Now those zombies are funny! Love the gnomes. I was told that ace hardware sells a zombie hunting kit. I'm not sure what comes in that!

I've seen those gnomes before--even asked for them for Christmas or birthday, but my family just doesn't get it!

Just added the gnome cookie jar to my wish list, too! I think your idea of the red velvet cookies in there is terrific!

Well, I see I'm not the only one around here with a warped sense of humor...that's why I love it here! Thank you for your kind words Pumpkin Cottage.

And Mary...you gotta keep your eye on them at all times...NEVER turn your back on em'! But at least now we know you can purchase Zombie Hunting Kit at Ace Hardware. (Thank you Becca) At lease we'll have some protection...ha! Who knew Ace sold stuff like that?! Not me!
