I do have another blog called 'The Artful Gypsy' which I completely neglected during the Fall, and I have gone back and posted recently as part of a blogging event called 'The Circle' which is celebrating Advent. You can check it out if you feel so inclined. I share a glimpse into how Christmas/Yule is celebrated in 'Gypsy' style at my house! Never one to be mired down by the norm, I of course have to give the season my own eclectic spin. So I posted a lot of photos of the Bohemian-Gypsy decor at my place!
Also, I'd like to give a shout out to a friend of mine and point you to her blog. Exoticat is a talented artist and all around great gal. Check her out at 'Meowsings'! Other than that....I have been up to my eyeballs in photos and kid's school stuff. So I am looking forward to an end to all the holiday hoopla. Perhaps a nice winter's nap and then the return of Spring. But now I must get on to the real 'guts' of today's installment of 'BIZARRE THINGS'!
I say 'guts' for a good reason, because I figure you gotta have GUTS to do this....or else be mad as a hatter! And I apologize in advance for searing your corneas with these images, but they unequivocally qualified as bizarre, so here they are...a couple of pics from 'The Naked Pumpkin Run'. Yep, it's all true.....there are folks out there who jump at any chance to don their Birthday Suits and Hallowe'en has given them the perfect excuse. No clothing required, just bring your pumpkin head! They had runs this year in Oregon, Colorado, Washington and California. (You just knew that California would make that list didn't you...ha?) So if you are bored with your typical Hallowe'en celebrations, then consider the Naked Pumpkin Run next year. Nothing screams Hallowe'en (and drugs/alcohol) like naked people running through the streets with pumpkins on their heads! To learn more about this festively free event's history, check it out at the Naked Pumpkin Run website!

Wendy, I was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering where you were. :)
It's good to hear from you, kid.
And yea...bizarre is right! Not sure I'd have the 'guts' to run naked with a pumpkin on my head. ;)
Have a blessed Yule!
